Love & Valentine

Happy New year to you all!

Both of these projects are different for me as this is the first time

I have made Jewellery with Shrink Plastic & also the first time I

have altered a book!

"BOOK OF LOVE" 

1.Printed out Digi Image on to normal copy paper

2.Coloured "Funny Valentine" by Stitchy Bear with Promarkers & Sakura glitter gel pens

3.Covered a hard back notebook with stripe fabric.

4.Used Crop o dile in two outside corners to secure fabric.Set Pink Eyelets in the holes.

5.Threaded pink Ric Rac Ribbon through holes & threaded pink tassels.

6.Threaded narrow red ribbon through the book's spine to use as book marks

 - tied in bow at bottom of book.

7.Threaded another longer length of red ribbon through the book spine & glued

   two red fabric hearts together at bottom of ribbon.Can also be used as a book mark.

8.Tied a length of red ribbon in a bow & glued a deep pink mulberry rose to the centre.

9.Sentiment was added & a deep pink Mulberry paper rose glued with glossy accents to each

 side (Glossy accents are best when dealing with fabric)

10.Used glossy accents to adhere a stitched Fabric Natural fibre heart to book, Mounted

 "Funny Valentine" image on to card & cut out.

11.Adhered the image to the fabric heart.

"CALORIE FREE INDULGENCE"  -

 BE VERY CAREFUL & ADHERE TO ALL INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH YOUR SHRINK PLASTIC - ADULT SUPERVISION & CARE IS REQUIRED

For this project I printed the cup cake image onto white shrink Plastic.
Once coloured with Promarkers for the necklace & Coloured pencils for the earrings.
A Heat gun was used to shrink them down to size.
A ball chain & jump rings were added to the chocolate cup cake.A red bead & silver bead.

The earrings were coloured with pencils, shrunk to size, jump rings & earring posts attached as well as chain & frosted silver stars.
