9/11 Tribute

Hiya there Peeps,

Such a sad day today, I remember where I was and what I was doing,

on that horrendous day.

I can still remember seeing the News and all the pictures and reports coming in Live,

I can still remember the total shock!

Today I decided to visit a poetry site that I was a member of and I have posted a few poems to

and I have been published in a few coffee table books in the states.

The point to visiting today was to retrieve a Special poem that I had written especially for

the tragic events of 9/11 and thought it would be an appropriate tribute to all those dear souls that were taken and destroyed for no reason that I can fathom!

That site has lost the archives and has been taken over by another company!

Although I am not pleased I do have a copy somewhere and I will locate that at some point but in the mean time,

I have composed another new poem as a

 TRIBUTE

Remembering 9/11 and passing love, strength, hope and unity to all

Remember our lost souls and remember the tragedy for all the right reasons.

10 years ago we all felt the shock and devastation some more directly than others.

My heart goes out to all that suffer and bear the scars of a mindless devastation that took so many in

a mindless attempt to control power.

May I take this time to to reflect and offer my condolences to everyone affected by a devastating tragedy that will impact on all out lives forever and remember the brave men, women and children who were a part of this tragedy!

Crying Souls

Dearest Souls, do not be afraid,
You are not lost, you are in our prayers
Those prayers are for you, those prayers cry for you.

Those cries echo through time and space, the world cries for you.

My dearest Souls do not falter, do not fear,
My dearest souls we are near,
My dearest souls we fear not for you,
My dearest souls God holds our tears for you.

My dearest souls rest and be our eternal memory.

A memory that will never be removed from our aching hearts,
One day my dearest souls we will meet and our memories will complete,
Your journey that was cut so short will be complete.
