Lost Blogger finds way back with Sam Biddle help

Oh hello and Hi there all my little peeps!

Yes and yes ,I did get a little distracted with life and left you all alone - shucks I am sorry hee hee!

Darn medical dramas yet again and a new interest too,(We will get to that in a minute).

As you may have noticed -I am a Creative.

By that I am a creative person in all areas of my life and my need to create overwhelms my organizational mind.

I am not flighty and fanciful in that I am fickle and loss interest easily,my mind takes me on creative journeys!

My blog is my blog, successfull or not? What is a sucessful blog? Based on how many followers?

Yep that was and is probably how many of you feel, we all want validation, praise and a good old pat on the back,we want to make our mark on the world and believe when it is our time to leave -we will not be forgotten!

Blogging is like running a business, self promoting and very time consuming, hey took me awhile to work that one out.
I say to all out there,it doesn't haveto be,the minute you created a blog you have created an opening in your life to let others in.
No matter what is going on in your life, someone knows you are not invisible, you are interesting even if you have a few followers-they like you!

Smash- Christmas Mash Up using Elfie from Angie Delarie

Hiya there,This is
Elfie
A cute little elf designed and created
by the Fabulous

Angie Delarie

This was created on a page in a Yellow Smash book.
The International themed one, from K & Co.

I bought this one from
Angel Crafts

Smash books are great and are a free form of Scrap booking.
You just stick, glue and create anything you want,no sketch to follow.
Do what you want and what creates your memories to look back on later.

I always like to create a pocket on a page or a secret area for keeping my private secrets hidden from view!

Angel Crafts is a great resource for Smash item sand also has the SN@P range of products now available-another brand of free form Scrap booking range.

Uses these books as picture Diaries just a little Journalling and a picture is all you need
to use these books. That really is all you need to get started is a picture and a pen
(Smash Books come with a pen and a glue stick at the other end)
I use the pen but do not find the glue strong enough)

Take a look at all the products on offer at Angel Crafts, she sells- magazines, ribbons, glitter, wooden veneer birds and so much more!

Back to "Elfie" and My Smash Page
(not posted for a while so catching up)

Products used and Recipe
Firstly I Created a secret area  behind "Elfie"
(After all we all need somewhere to hide our secrets)!

1. I concertina folder a piece of paper cut to the same
shape as "Elfie" Box and stuck him to this and the other end to the Pocket that I made.
This is held down in place with a Brad that can be turned
to release  "Elfie" to view the hidden Journalling.

Coloured "Elfie" With Promarkers.

Used Sticky ribbons around the pocket and on the Smash Page.

The pocket was created using -

2. Cosmo Cricket paper Mini Deck 6 x6 "Wanted"
I used Double sided tape to create the pocket.

Anything can be put in the pocket- but I have put plain paper folded in half to use
for more Journalling.

3. Cut Black and white card stock with Spellbinders Label 28 dies.

4..Stamped the Christmas tree onto the white card cut with Labels 28 Spellbinder dies,
using Versamark Embossing ink,
used silver detailed embossing powder and heated with a heat gun -
Tree Stamp from-Docrafts,Papermania set
Honey & Hugs- Festive Frolics Clear Stamps.

5. Mounted and glued the Heat embossed tree onto the
black card and stuck down on the Smash Page.

6.Coloured Java Stamp with Promarkers.
Java Stamp from Dawn Bibby's shop Turquoise Crafts.
Stuck this down onto the pocket.

7.Stuck down a strip of Christmas paper from Bearly Mine Designs
Fantastic range of digital elements and papers from Donna at Bearly Mine Designs.

8.Stickers,string,buttons,piano sticker and letter jigsaw stickers from stash.

9. The word journaling notelet, make me happy post it note and paperclip flags from Smash Range from K & Co.

10.Christmas Baubles cut with the Cricut machine using "Christmas Cheer" Cartridge.
Using a dark bronze paper.

11. Cut a Poinsettia from Red sparkle paper with the

Christmas,funnily enough eh?

This was a joy to make,I sometimes forget how cool

Jewellery Designing -Bronze Window

Hello there,Hope everyone had a good Christmas and
a Great start to their New Year?

This collection is called" Bronze Window"

This was sent into www.jewellerymaker.com
and was featured on the TV show for the
Wall of Fame!

Great stuff eh?
The gemstones and accessories they sell are very
reasonably priced, and they have amazing price slashing
shows in the evenings and special offers too!

A few nights ago I bought a pasta rolling machine or clay rolling machine
depends on what you use it for?

The clay rolling machine was only £8.95 with £2.95 postage,
.Which I think is rather a good price.
One of the main things I have discovered with watching this TV channel
is well it is on freeview which I have in my Bedroom-better than trying to lead
cables all over the house to connect to cable channels that are basically the same!
It is on channel 43 freeview from 9am to 1pm and then now for a limited trial
period channel 32 freeview from 5pm until 9pm.

You can of course watch it on Sky and Cable but those details don't concern me
but they do have them up on the channel when you watch it.

As well as Gemstones they also sell Stirling Silver findings, tools and beading wires
and do tutorial DVDs too.A lot going on there and also demonstrations during the day.

ONE major factor that I really really do like is if you order something during the day and
decide you want to order something else you see later on that night you can up to 12pm
and these orders will be combined and you only pay

the one postage and packing cost of £2.95 !

No I am not getting paid for this hee hee and I am not getting a Bean or a bead for it either-
Just thought it is a good place to get some amazing deals especially on
Real Gemstones
Stirling Silver findings.

Have a great day
Keep Crafting

Embellishment box the little tinker has
Raided my CD and Magazine box!

What a naughty little girlie she is!
Hee hee!

I must agree ,I am finding them fun and very elegant too!
They are just so excellent for adding bling to, how can a girl
resist?

Papercrafted project- Make up Notes

Hello there and here we are again,

This weeks project at My Grafico

was to use the fab set from

Olillia illustrations  called

"Bride is getting ready"

The perfume bottle is actually a note pad and is tied closed with
the pink ribbon and a pen is attached on the botton with a chain.

The mirrors are a mini photo frame held together with an eyelet so the
mirror frames can open like a fan or be closed completly. Or can be used to
list your favourite cosmetic brand, colour etc. or even a pretty To Do List.

The lipsticks can be used as perfume sample cards when in stores
,spray the scent and write the name down.
Or use as a list for brand and colour etc of cosmetics you like or use.

The set was fun to use and very versatile, not just for weddings,
the perfume bottle shape can be used as Bridal shower invites,
Hen party invites,Birthday party invites, Lots of uses can you tell
that the perfume bottle is one of my favourite items?

Hope you can pop over and join us at

for our challenges and see the rest of
the Fab Design Teams Projects!

Have set for myself.

It is such a shame that I have not used these items or this technique
